What is eStories?

March 23, 2017 Fun Questions 11

Yesterday I reviewed Hero in the Highlands, a book I listened to from eStories. I recently discovered eStories and they graciously offered to have me review audiobooks for them. I’ve used several audiobook services, being the audiobook junkie that I am. And I have to say, eStories is worth checking out.

For those that listen to audiobooks a lot, here’s some features that I liked about eStories:

  • You can choose to either download the book to your listening device or to stream it. This is awesome for me because I have limited space on my phone and being able to listen to a book without ever taking up space on my phone is awesome.
  • You can upload audiobooks to a personal library! I haven’t used this feature yet, but as someone who keeps her audiobooks that she gets on audio CD in a cloud, this has real potential. Especially because I wouldn’t have to download them to my phone and I’d have a built in player for those files. I’m excited to try it out.
  • Like most audiobook services, the player has the ability to jump forward and backwards 10, 20, 30 seconds. You can adjust the playback speed up and down. So it didn’t take any adapting for me to use eStories.

eStories.com, an audiobook service allows customers to choose from over 80,000 bestselling titles and new releases. You can get your first audiobook for free now.

Additionally, eStories:

  • Is the most affordable service out there at $11.95/month, and for a limited time you get your first audiobook for free.
  • works with ALL devices from ALL brands
  • one account can connect to up to 10 devices so you can start on one and pick up listening on another
  • unlimited cloud storage lets you transfer and upload your existing library to your new eStories account
  • 80%+ audiobooks are DRM-free so you are free to do what you want with them.

Definitely worth checking out, audiobook fans!
