Can You Read a Series in a Month? | Goal Post

Challenge Hosted by Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun & Michelle @ Because Reading

I’m really excited about this challenge, I’ve been in the mood to binge read, rather than read responsibly. And now that I’ve picked out the series I plan to read I’m even more excited. If you want details on the challenge, click on the picture to sign up… but basically, we’re challenging you to read a series in 1 month. The month of August (which has 31 days!).

My series… Half-Moon Hollow by Molly Harper

So back when I first discovered audio books I purchased the Jane Jameson series not having a clue who Molly Harper was, but because I adored Amanda Ronconi (and still do). I loved it so much that I swept through all the Harper-Ronconi books… I thought. For some reason, I thought that Half-Moon Hollow was just another name for the Jane Jameson series. Probably because Jane Jameson takes place in Half-Moon Hollow. Anyway, it wasn’t until years later when I read a Christmas novella from the Half-Moon Hollow series and found myself very confused that I realized I had missed an entire series! But that was after my reading had gotten a lot more complex *ahem! Review books!* and I just haven’t gotten to these. So I’m super excited to be reading (on audio) this series in August. I’ll be reading:

  • Fangs for the Memories #0 – Read 4/5 stars
  • The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires #1 – Read 4/5 stars
  • Driving Mr. Dead #1.5 – Read 5/5 stars
  • A Witch’s Handbook of Kisses and Curses #2 – Read 4.5/5 stars
  • Undead Sublet #2.5 – Read 4/5 stars
  • Special Valentine’s Day Half-Moon Hollow Story 2.6 – Can’t find a copy 🙁
  • I’m Dreaming of an Undead Christmas #2.7 (already read, but want to reread to figure out who all those people were!)-Currently Reading
  • The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire #3
  • The Single Undead Moms Club #4
  • Where the Wild Things Bite #5 – coming out this month!
  • Big Vamp on Campus #5.5 – already out… weird.

You’ll notice that I’m reading all the shorts. If I start to get pressed for time I’ll skip some of them. But I love this duo so much that I have a feeling I’ll eat these books up. Plus the shorts are, well, short.

Are you joining us for the Challenge? What are you reading?
