Winter 2014-2015 #COYER Update |Twitter Party Today!

January 24, 2015 COYER 5

Holy wow, ya’ll! Time is just flying by! I have to apologize for being almost 100% absent these past two weeks – I started an intensive class and it turned out to be way more intensive than I anticipated. The result – I’ve pretty much lived, breathed, and slept this class. So I have to give a huge thank you to Michelle for putting up with an absentee partner here and, of course, to Stormi, who’s doing so amazing with the social media! Without her I’d be panicking about leaving Michelle to handle it all, so thanks ladies!!

I’ve also done very little reading the past two weeks! Thank goodness for audio books, or I wouldn’t have read anything. I have about a 30/45 minute drive in and sometimes an hour home, so I’ve been listening to audiobooks. So, here’s what I’ve read for COYER so far – the top couple are my most recent audiobooks:

First off, we have the twitter party today at 4pm EST! We’ll have a ton of fun and, as always, a few giveaways! Don’t miss it! You can join us by following #COYER or you can go to Twubs for an easier way to keep up. And If you need help figuring out the time, here’s a handy dandy count down, complete with time conversions:

We also have a new mini-challenge kicking off today! Thanks to Lexxie @ (Un)Conventional Bookviews for her fun 3 historical romances in 3 weeks challenge (you’ll notice I made a go of it, though I didn’t make it if you check out the books I’ve read recently)! Starting today Kathy @ My Nook, Books, & More will be hosting her Dream Cast Challenge! It runs until January 27th – it’s a short one so don’t miss the fun!

Last but not least, the Scavenger Hunt Read-a-thon kicks off tomorrow! Sign-ups have closed and the official list has been sent out. If you signed up or had trouble signing up for some reason, contact me or Michelle so we can fix your link and send you the list! Good luck treasure seekers ;)

Oh wait! One more thing! Sign ups also close tomorrow! So if you have a friend (or you) who haven’t signed up yet, this is your last chance! Sign up here!

Some Reviews Posted This Week

Well as I’m sure you figured out from my opening, I haven’t been reading reviews at all this week :( I see some covers for books I seriously want to read on the linky, so I plan to spend a lot of time there in the upcoming week! There are just about 250 reviews, which – quite frankly – blows my mind! Y’all are killing it! Be sure to check out all the review links here. There’s bunches of goodies to read!

Be sure to head over to Stormi’s post for an update on what’s going on with the Social Media games! See if you won something and what’s up next :)
I hope everyone is having a great time! Let me know how COYER is going for you in the comments!!

I’ve read only 5 e-books so far, all of those were review books, so at least I am making a bit of a dent into my review books pile. I’ll do my best to make the twitter party tonight! And I am excited for the Scavenger readathon although I can’t seem to decide which book to read next. I am impressed by how many reviews are already linked up.

I hope you’re still enjoying your classes, Berls, I would love to have some classroom management under my belt, I’ve just been thrown into it with no info at all – just my BA in English and here you go, you need to teach these 12 year-old kids English :D At least next week, I have some senior highschool classes, and I’m really looking forward to being able to talk about things, rather than teaching them the simple present :)
Have a great weekend, and happy reading :)
