I’ve gotten into the habit of walking in the evenings and it’s working out really well for me. I had been a mid-morning walker but it’s just too hot at 11am now! Then I tried the afternoon, but that was even worse! So I walk now at 7pm and it’s great. The sun is on it’s way down and the heat is fading. Buffy and I have gotten caught in a few evening summer sprinkles and they’ve been so refreshing. I may stick with this time even as the fall comes!
Day 171 (Fri): 6,189 steps (2.9 miles)
Day 172 (Sat): Rest Day – 1,956 steps
Day 173 (Sun): 6,304 steps (2.92 miles)
Day 174 (Mon): 5,085 steps (2.37 miles) So close! I had a big project I was working on and getting away from the desk was hard. I still think it was a pretty good day though!
Day 175 (Tues): 5,929 steps (2.77 miles) Ok I’m totally counting this one! I realized at 11:45 that I was like 200 steps short (still working on project), so I got up and started walking around my place. I hit 929 steps at 11:59:59. I ran out of time
Day 176 (Wed): 6,098 steps (2.82 miles)
Day 177 (Thurs): 6,044 steps (2.80 miles) – as of 10:30 PM. So probably a few more by end of night.
