Book Blog Walkers is a challenge developed by Felicia @ Geeky Bloggers Book Blog – for details go check out her info page. I hope you’ll join us, it’s a lot of fun and a great way to motivate each other to get and stay moving!

The weather continued to be super cold and wet early in the week, making those C25K walk/jogs brutal. At the same time, I’m that much prouder of myself for doing them, so I guess that’s a plus. On Monday I discovered that my C25K App is actually tracking how far I go in the 30 minutes and I’m averaging just around 2K right now. So I’m trying to push so that I can maybe get to a 30 minute 3K by March 29 and maybe a 50 minute 5K. And thankfully the weather took a turn for the better these last couple days, so getting out will hopefully be much easier moving forward. Fingers crossed it stays this way!

Day 38 (Fri): C25K walk/jog 30 minutes

Day 39 ((Sat): 2 – 15 minute walks with Buffy

Day 40 (Sun): Rest day

Day 41 (Mon): C25K walk/jog 30 minutes

Day 42 (Tues): 30 minutes Kettlebell workout

Day 43 (Wed): C25K walk/jog 30 minutes

Day 44 (Thurs): 30 minutes Kettlebell workout

      I love the elliptical and if I had a gym I’d probably use the elliptical all the time. Though I really want to get to a place where jogging is something I do regularly, hoping that all this 5k training will eventually get me there.

      I’m so sorry I’m just now replying, I’ve been incredibly behind on comments and am playing catch up tonight. I don’t know how much use the app would be, since it really does push walk/jog intervals. But there are some great apps that you can use to time your walk and track distance (and they convert it to show you m/s). I have one called My Run – I haven’t used it much because then I switched to C25K, but it might fit your purposes. Good luck :)

    Great job on the C25k training! I’m using Runkeeper. It’s okay. I’ve been thinking about using the C25k app instead but I’m already 3 weeks in and don’t want to start over. Plus I’m using Runkeeper to track my overall miles for the year.

      Yay! I’m glad :) Hopefully you’re doing better than I am now… seeing as I’m a month behind replying to comments and have currently derailed. I’ve decided this week is the week that I’ll get back on track though!
