Feature and Follow | #8

September 5, 2013 Feature & Folow Friday 28

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly bloghop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. I’ve been participating for a while now and discovered a lot of great blogs, so I’m really looking forward to doing the same this week!

Parajunkee and Alison Can read each feature a blog- this week check out Primrose Musings and Bookworm Brandee – and pose a question/activity for each blogger that participates to answer/do. Then we all hop around checking out as many participant blogs as we like, finding great new blogs and forming blogger friendships.

This Week’s Question:
Bookshelf Tour. Give us a tour of your bookshelf.
When I saw this activity I thought it could be taken two ways – my literal bookshelf where my physical books are stored, or my bookshelf of books I’ve read and want to read. Since my literal bookshelf is currently non-existent (all my books are in boxes waiting for me to move into my- hopefully final- home in January), I decided to go with the list of books I have on my read and TBR shelves. Plus this is super easy, thanks to Shelfari’s widgets :-)

Books I’ve Read:

Books I plan to read:

I can’t wait to see all of your shelves!

Link in the comments below so I can follow you back :-)

Before you go :

There’s too many great ones on my TBR – it seems to be growing non-stop, sometimes I look through it and go “wow I forgot about that one! I really want to read it too!” LOL

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

I sure can fit a lot more of them in my little studio apartment that’s for sure! But I can’t wait to be settled and release my books from the box prisons to some nice beautiful shelves in their own room… a girl can dream, right?

Thanks for stopping by :-) have a great weekend!

I wish I could have shown an actual bookshelf, but my books are either on my e-reader or in boxes right now, so I had to get creative :-)

Thanks so much for following! Have a great weekend Kathryn!

LOL yeah – I thought about changing my post up a bit after seeing others, you know to make it more clear the genres and such- but then I thought nah, that’s too much work!

Well I wish my OCD would kick in – I want organized shelves!! :-)
Thanks for stopping by – have a great weekend!

Oh they will – it’s one of my prereqs for a new place: Room for my books! LOL

Thanks for following! Happy reading :-)

    • Berls

LOL well I only thought of it because my shelves are all in moving boxes right now :-)

Thanks for the follow! Have a great weekend!

Nice way of taking it! In my pics you can see my physical TBR pile stacked in front of my shelf. It didn’t start that way. Then the Borders closed–sob!–and I took advantage of all the sales and that’s what started my TBR mountain!! I still have books I bought in those last days that I have yet to read!

    Here’s my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    Old Follower :)

Book stores closing is such a sad moment – except for the sales! I know exactly what you’re talking about, too. If I had my books on actual shelves instead of in moving boxes right now I’d have to be showing quite a few stacks myself :-)

Thanks for stopping by – happy reading!

Oh great – thanks! It was one of those moments where you’re thinking “did I really just do that?” LOL

      Have a great weekend!

Thanks for stopping by Alison. I wish my real shelves were ever as orderly. Maybe once I get settled and get my books out of boxes I’ll get them looking good in real life :-)

    • Berls

I plan to really hit some of them during our challenge – well the free ones, which are more than I’d like to admit.

Thanks for stopping by :) Talk to you soon!

Thanks Brandee – it was the best option at the moment, since I’m shelfless :(

Thanks for stopping by, happy Friday!
