Sunday Post | 4th Edition

August 4, 2013 Sunday Post 13

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Basically it’s a chance to talk about the books you bought, borrowed, blogged about, and read for the week and what’s coming in the week ahead – and then share them with a much wider blogging community. Check out the details here.
Last Week on the Blog

Fantasy Is More Fun is a on its fourth week already! I finally went ahead and took the plunge – I setup hosting with Go Daddy and I’m working on moving over to WordPress. Super scared because everything seems so much more complicated over there, but I really want the security of having my own site, not to mention all those plug ins!! I bought the theme last night and finalized some design decisions (my brother is a graphic design student  and is helping me out thank goodness)… so, barring any disasters, next week this post will be coming to you from with a brand new look! Cross your fingers for me 🙂

Thanks! I’ve been messing with it all day today and I think I’m just about ready. It’s been a major pain though, just trying to get a theme to work right and all the features setup. I do think it will be worth it in the long run.

I’m super excited about my book haul 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Ohh I’ve been considering switching to wordpress. I’ve actually been working on a design and debated over get a domain from godaddy I keep changing my mind what I want the url to be. lol. I want it to be easy to type and remember. Good luck with the switch over. I might see you on the wp side soon

I debated over it for weeks now. I was anxious about the domain too, but since my blog name was available I figured it made sense. Plus most my readers are hitting links, not typing it in (according to Google analytics). I’ll post about my switch when it’s all said and done. Good luck deciding!

Thanks Jenea! Everyone seems to be so happy there, that’s why I feel mostly confidant about taking the plunge. I just need to get used to it I think.

      Thanks!! Fingers crossed…

I love the Keri Arthur covers! I read her Riley Jensen series a few years ago and really enjoyed it, so when I saw these on NetGal,ey I had to hit request. I’m just thrilled they approved me, since I’m such a small blog still.

I have Diamonds and Toads from NetGalley. Need to get to it. I grabbed my blog name over at WP, but only the freebie. I may snap up the paid one, too. Have to think about it. Good luck with the move!

NetGalley titles can pile up so easily – I’m trying to keep from requesting too many before I’ve had a chance to read what I already have, but the books just call to me 🙂

Thanks – I hope it goes well. I grabbed my name at WP first too and then I kept seeing GL Daddy Hosting ads for $1 a month and I figured it was a sign. Though I didn’t realize I was going to need to buy a theme to get what I wanted (I bought mine at theme forest for $45)… Hopefully I won’t discover anything else I “have” to buy!

Yeah, welcome to WP..there is a lot to learn but it does have many advantages. Looking forward to seeing your set up. Lovely haul this week, and I see you grabbed a few series.

Thanks – I’m thinking it will be worth it. And yep, I’m a series addict… I may need to join a series support group in fact lol 🙂
