From bestselling author Kaitlyn Davis, writing as Kay Marie, comes a new adult romantic comedy about a girl who'll soon discover that some secrets can't be kept forever, especially those of the heart.

My name is Skylar Quinn. I just moved to New York with my best friend Bridget, and I have a confession. Well, more than one. Okay, quite a few really. Fine, here goes!

Confession #1: I'm a sex columnist. Hold on, that's not really the confession. You see, I'm sort of a columnist.

Confession #2: I'm kind of in love with Bridget's older brother, Oliver. No, I was. No, I am. Wait, was? Am? Crap.

Confession #3: I've been avoiding Oliver for four years. Or I was until today, because he just moved in. Yes, you read that correctly. He's my new roommate. So that night we've both been pretending never happened, well, we might not be able to keep it a secret any longer.

And trust me, this is only the beginning.

Confessions of a Virgin Sex Columnist! was a fun RomCom! This is the sort of story that you see in a fun RomCom movie – like a young Diane Keaton movie or something.

Confessions of a Virgin Sex Columnist! has the girl — Skylar — who’s determined she’s over this one guy –Oliver, best friends older brother and their surprise roommate — and starts dating someone else — . And they have a sweet romance but something isn’t quite right.

For a while, I didn’t really get into this because, well, I didn’t want her with Olliver, the guy I KNEW she’d get with. I really liked the new guy.

But at about the 60% point I started to get why he, Oliver, was THE ONE. And then I was rooting so hard and of course obstacle after obstacle made that last 40% a great ride. It’s a romance, so it’s not really a spoiler to say you get a HEA. But there’s a fun little twist that has me anxious to read book 2. Of course I picked this up thinking it was a stand alone and instead I’ve gotten myself sucked into ANOTHER series. *sigh* #bookloverproblems

Ultimately, Confessions of a Virgin Sex Columnist! is a hilariously fun time with a good romance and a great friendship to boot! Very glad I picked it up, even if it did take me forever to read!

Okay, you’ve “talked” me into putting this on my tbr. It sounds like a fun read and I love that the author was able to swing you over to Oliver’s side. 😉 I hope you’ll read #2 soon so I can get your thoughts on it. I’m glad you had a good time with this one, Berls. I think you needed a fun read. 🙂
Happy Thursday, my dear. One day closer to the weekend. And it’s a long one, yeah?!?

It’s Skylar and Oliver again – the little twist at the end presents a potential hiccup in their relationship. I haven’t read the second one yet, but I am curious to see what will happen.
