What I’m Reading November 28, 2016

November 28, 2016 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 12

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!The Book Date

I just finished…

I’ve done a lot of reading this past week – caught up on my goodreads challenge this week, actually. I’m on track!!
Clearly I’ve been in an In Death mood! I’m switching gears though, because Vision in Death was the last one I own (I own several later in the series, but none of the next ones). We’ll see if this sticks though, because as of Saturday Divided in Death was the last one I owned and as you see, that changed. I’m a little addicted 🙂

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I jumped into this one. I didn’t like it near as much though, so I don’t know when I’ll continue. Maybe next Christmas…

Reading Now…

I returned to this audio now that I’m out of my In Death books. and I am enjoying it.

I kind of forgot that I needed to read a #2016HW book this month…oops! So I picked it up Saturday and I’m hoping I’ll manage to finish it before the end of the month.

Up Next…

Hoping I’ll pick up one of the many books I have on hold right now:

Holy wow! You were definitely on a Death binge! 😉 I’m happy you were able to spend time reading over your break. “You” time is always good. 🙂 Hopefully some of the other books you have lined up (or on hold) will tickle your fancy enough to keep you interested. I’ve been such a slow reader lately. But it’s because every spare moment I had was spent writing. I’m currently listening to Hunting Season by Shelly Laurenston and I’m reading The Vincent Brothers by Abbi Glines. 🙂
    I hope your week back is going well. I know it’s always hard to return to “reality”. Miss you! {{{hugs}}}

I have seen a lot of reviews slamming the author of Drunk Mom, but some saying that readers aren’t getting the essence of the book. I want to read it so I see for myself.

High fives for catching up on your Goodreads Challenge! I had to lower mine from 104 to 72 about three months ago because I became 23 books behind. Yikes! I have had no problem keeping on track since then. Ha ha. 🙂

I was enjoying Drunk Mom when I was reading it, just got pulled in other directions. I look forward to finishing it and seeing how I feel. So far, I feel like it really shows you the struggle of being an addict & alcoholic.

Thanks! Hoping I can stay caught up and finish the year strong 🙂

I put it off for years – in part because of time… I mean 40+ books!?! And also because I thought I wouldn’t like it. I’m not usually a procedural fan. But it’s so much more. I hope you can make time for it sooner than later 🙂

That happens to me sometimes, but when I’m really loving a series I love being able to binge through it! Have you read In Death?

I know, I got seriously addicted there for a while. Even though I’ve stepped away, I’m itching to listen to more too. Lol. It’s not looking good for my 2016hw read. I started too late 🙁 the rest the year they were my TBR reads so I forgot this month. *sigh *

So addictive! I stepped aside after book 20, but there are still in my head and I’m itching to read more!
