Sunday Post | Spring Break!

March 20, 2016 Sunday Post 22

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Basically it’s a chance to talk about the books you bought, borrowed, blogged about, and read for the week and what’s coming in the week ahead – and then share them with a much wider blogging community. Check out the details here.

News at Home: Spring Break!

This past week was spring break and boy did I need that break! I spent the week resting and getting caught up on so many things I needed to work on around the house. I also got in a lot of the appointments I’m always struggling to get to during the week – eye doctor, dentist, hair appointment, and doctor’s appointment. Feels great to be caught up, if only spring break were two weeks long so I could spend this next week catching up on the blog and just getting lots of sleep.

Thankfully next week is a 4 day week of school. Just 4 days and then I have a 3 day weekend! Woot! And we’re getting closer and closer to summer break 🙂

Blog News

I’m making a semi-return I think. I did get a chance to do some reviewing and blog scheduling this past week so hopefully I’ll be able to maintain a semi presence!

#FitReaders Update

This past week was bad for diet and workout… as in I didn’t get in any of my walks or eat right at all :/ but it was spring break, so it doesn’t count right?

    Spring offers new beginnings and opportunities. Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. And I agree with you, spring is also the best time to catch up with the things that we love doing. It’s time to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air outdoors.

    I’m glad you were able to have some time to get caught up on some things, Berls. It’s nice to have the time to do those things and not have to be stressed trying to fit them in along with all your other daily musts when you’re working. It’s just too bad spring break isn’t 2 weeks! I’m glad you have a 4 day work week ahead though. Rest and relax, my dear! We’re on spring break this coming week and the kids and I are so looking forward to downtime. We aren’t doing anything because all they wanted to do was sleep/rest. And I can get down with that! 😉 I hoping to get lots of reading in!
    Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!! {{{hugs}}}

    I?m glad you’ve been able to take care of all the appointments you haven’t had time for since you started teaching, Berls! Our spring break (or rather, Easter holiday) starts on Monday morning and lasts for 10 days. The fact that it’s a little more than a week makes it perfect!
    I’m glad you’ve been able to schedule some posts, I’ve missed you! *HUGS*

    Spring break was so refreshing! I spent it away from home, and my laptop decided to die on day 1. Not like I had an entire yearbook to finish proofing and submit, let alone two blogs to work on. Ahhh! I did get a few things accomplished, but nowhere near what I expected. We definitely need two weeks! … and I need a haircut.
