Michelle @ Because Reading & I are recapping 2015 and looking ahead to 2016 the next 12 days. Feel free to join us. I’ll be sharing highlights month-by-month and giving you a peak at my goals for 2016.
Out With The Old: September 2015
Some Quick Facts:
- Books Read: Only 4!
- Books Reviewed (on the blog): 4
- Favorite Book Read: Cold Burn of Magic by Jennifer Estep
- Favorite Post:I didn’t do much beyond Sunday Posts and a couple book reviews in September, but I did like my review – Kitty Saved the World A Month Ago. It was the start of my using more creative titles for book reviews.
As hard as August was, September was even harder. Things started to get better by the end, but it took every ounce of everything I had to get through September. I wasn’t reading much – only 4 books all month – and I wasn’t sleeping or eating much either. I got sick in September and lost a lot of weight (not that I’m really complaining or anything).
In With The New: Goal #9
This goal is actually job related. At the end of September I FINALLY got the help that I needed and my classroom started to head in the right direction. My goal for 2016 is to keep my classroom going in that right direction. I want to be consistent in my consequences and continue to be strict as hell – because that’s what works with my kids. I also want to be a bit more organized and get ahead enough that I don’t have to work quite so hard from day-to-day. I’m working on that this week – we’ll see how it goes!
Do you remember September 2015? Are you making any work goals for 2016?
