Out With The Old: October 2015

Some Quick Facts:

  • Books Read: Only 5!
  • Books Reviewed (on the blog): 5
  • Favorite Book Read: Queen of Always by Sheri D. Ficklin
  • Favorite Post: I literally had only 7 posts in October. Picking a favorite is impossible 🙁

Yikes! October was really rough for me on the blog. Mainly because I got really sick in October. I had already been struggling with eating (not wanting to) and lots of congestion, coughing, etc. – but early October is when I had my first gallbladder attack and missed two days of work. I got back to work – where things continued to get better – but while fighting constant illness and exhaustion.

In With The New: Goal #10

Take care of me!!! Since October I’ve had my gallbladder removed and discovered that I’m border line asthmatic (I got an inhaler this week!), so it’s time to put my health first. I’m determined to make better health choices this year – getting a full night’s sleep, drinking my 8 glasses of water (which I usually do), taking my vitamins, healthy food choices, etc. Here’s to a healthy year!

      Good luck to you too! I wish I hadn’t gotten off track, it’s so much easier to keep eating healthy and working out than it is to get back to it!

    I need to get healthier too! My goal is to try and lose ten pounds a month, but I am not good at being motivated. I am trying to use the fact that I will be seeing lots of my blogger friends in May and so if I can lose 50 pounds I will feel a lot better about myself and seeing everyone and authors! I am my own worst critic on how I look, but I have the hardest time stopping myself from putting in the bad stuff in my mouth. 🙁
