You know how it went for me.
You know what he did.
You know the fire he left inside my soul when he crushed me into a thousand tiny pieces.
Since Marcus, my life has been a blur of emptiness.
Since Marcus there has been nothing.
I’m alone, my Mom is dwindling and I feel nothing but emptiness. I work long, I work hard, but why? There’s no longer anything to fight for.
I know I have to face him. I know I have to go back. To fix my life, I have to break my ties to him.
Seeing Marcus again will destroy me, but it’s time to finish this.
I don’t expect the bitter, twisted emotions I’ll feel when I see him again, and when I lose everything once more, because of him, the only thing on my mind is revenge.
But how do you hurt someone you still love so deeply?
How can I still care for a monster? How can he still make me feel?
Our story is the most complicated of them all, it’s far from beautiful, it’s far from perfect, it’s just a twisted mess of emotion that neither of us knows how to fix.
But we will fix it. You’ll see.

Contains Adult Content. No Cliffhanger. HEA.

Remember how I said that Volume 1 was enjoyable but predictable? Well Til Death Volume 2 was anything but predictable! Within the first chapter I’d gasped in shock at least twice and pretty much kept going that way until the end. I gobbled it up and will be keeping my eye out for other books by this author for sure.

One of the things that I loved about Til Death Volume 2 was how, despite being fairly short, Jewel managed to take the characters through quite the progression. Marcus wasn’t that unexpected but Katia! Holy crap, I don’t want to spoil anything, but her character’s evolution was NOTHING like I expected! As you’ll notice in the synopsis, we do get a HEA in Til Death Volume 2, but I was surprised by the road traveled to get there and I think it made me appreciate that end all the more.

You may also notice that I’m no longer classifying Til Death Volume 2 as erotica. Well, I said it was erotica light before, but with volume 2, it’s really just a romance with steam. Which is PERFECTLY fine with me – I think the story took over and got better where the steam disappeared.

I continued to be happy with Roger Wayne and Lidia Dornet’s narration as well. I ended up listening to Volume 2 at 1.5 speed and their voices held up, which was nice. The high pitchiness didn’t bother me at all this time around and Roger’s narration continued to seduce. All in all, Til Death Volume 2 was a win!

Ah, I love it when an author can surprise and shock me! (in a good way, anyway) It sounds like Jewel accomplished that. I’m really curious about Katia now. You know I enjoy watching a character evolve and that you were shocked with her evolution makes me want to jump into this story NOW. I believe I have one or two of Jewel’s Hell’s Knights books and I’m thinking I’ll push them up in the queue just so I can acquaint myself with her writing. Great review, Berls. I’m so happy you seem to be on a roll with good reads! 🙂

Me too – I was in quite the slump there for a while! Katia was a great character and things really shifted unexpectedly for me with this one, so I definitely recommend it. I haven’t read any Bella Jewel before this, I need to check out some of her other books!

Me too! It just adds to the sexiness of the character. There’s some narrators I could listen to and just melt!

Aren’t the covers great? That’s totally why I grabbed them 🙂 it is, though volume 1 was sexier than volume 2. Both were Sexy though lol

Oh that must have been a nice susprise when the second volume turned out to be so unpredictable, I always like it when books pleasantly surprise me. Sounds like the characters go through some hard things before they get their HEA. And you make me curious about Katia her evolution. Glad to hear you enjoyed these books. Great review Berls!

It really was Lola! They go through quite a bit and it changes Katia in ways I couldn’t have predicted. I definitely recommend this one 🙂

Lol they were really good Stormi and not really THAT erotica. They got steamy, but it’s more story for sure 🙂

Hehehe I know it’s impossible! Think of this one as one you already put on your list because it’s just the end of yesterday’s book 😉 It really was SO GOOD – I just didn’t expect 90% of it to go that way and that’s a real treat!

Yay! You’ll have to tell me when you read it – this second part was so good and so unexpected!
