This is a story about the fantasies we have about strange men we've only just met and the steamy things we wish would happen. Only in this case, for Spencer, it comes true. How was he to know that Zack, a full grown man who has come to be his father's farm hand, will give him a passionate night he will remember for a lifetime; a night that will set his world on fire and call him to question everything he thinks about for his future?

Basically, I was curious. Erotica is hit or miss for me, but I’ve never read a M/M erotica before. So when I won Do Me, Tonight on audio by Jamie Lake, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to get my feet wet. And it wasn’t bad. It didn’t blow me away, but it was okay.

I think one of my biggest problems with Do Me, Tonight was actually more the general problem I often have with shorts than because it was M/M – it was way too fast. And in an erotica it kind of intensifies the problem because one second the guys meet and the next, they’re getting busy. But I do have to give Jamie Lake credit – it wasn’t THAT instantaneous. We have four chapters total in Do Me, Tonight and it wasn’t until the fourth chapter until things really happened.

But I saw potential in this and I think I could actually end up really enjoying M/M erotica if it’s full length and has a solid story (as with all erotica, I don’t like it as much when it’s JUST sex). I think my enjoyment of Do Me, Tonight was increased by the narration – the voices were pretty good and varied. I think, if it were longer, I would have gotten pretty comfortable with Keanu Vincente.

All-in-all, not a bad first time venture into a new-to-me genre. I probably won’t be reading bunches of M/M erotica but I won’t avoid it anymore either.

Reading anything is more delightful than the actual experience. Imagination brings us to a new level of erotic exposure. Such stuff is always awesome. It is like visiting an escort. Will surely get this one.

🙂 Yep, I’m branching out, trying new things! And I like them! I typically prefer full novels, so I’m not surprised the shortness/quickness bothered me, but overall, it was a good taste!

I haven’t, but I’ll put it on my list! I’m hoping to try out at least 1 per quarter now – keep things varied and all.

Yeah, so not for me, but good for you for going for it..lol. As with about any erotica I have ever tried, it’s usually just sex and no story which is why I don’t read them..lol.

LOL with this one that’s mostly true, but I’ve read some eroticas that really have tons of story. That’s what I prefer, but it’s admittedly really hard to find.

That’s all I had read up to this point as well. Lexxie keeps telling me she has a good list to check out of strictly M/M romance and erotica – I think I’m going to make it a goal to read one a quarter now.
