Having turned his back on his snow leopard pride, Cavanaugh has been counting the days until he’s free of a role he never wanted—one that separated him from his fated female and stands between him and the future he craves with her.

Just days from the night he will finally be free to be with the low-ranking beauty who stole his heart, she walks back into his life and threatens to destroy everything he’s worked towards in the five long years they’ve been apart.

Eloise has traveled across continents searching for the male who was once her best friend and so much more to her, but was now her pride’s true alpha. Desperate to fulfil a promise to her kin to save them from the tyrant he left in charge, she convinces Cavanaugh to return to his pride, but as they journey to Bhutan, doubts bloom and old feelings resurface, tearing her between duty and her deepest desires and impossible dreams.

Will Eloise be able to resist the burning need that Cavanaugh reignites in her and remember her place in the pride? And can Cavanaugh find a way to save his kin and claim the future he craves with the woman he loves?

I really enjoyed Craved by an Alpha – it was a quick read, but didn’t sacrifice the richness that I’ve enjoyed so far in the series – the characters are complete and complex, the story satisfying.

Even though I still miss the characters from the first couple books in the series, I didn’t feel their absence nearly as much in Craved by an Alpha. I think I didn’t miss them because they wouldn’t have fit in this story – unlike the other ones, where the characters fit into this tangled web and meet for the first time in the book, these characters knew each other before and belong to their own exclusive sub-world.

And I loved that Craved by an Alpha was about fixing a past relationship gone wrong – it gave the mating storyline a freshness and uniqueness it needed this far into the series. I was able to get caught up in something a little different and, as a result, less obvious to me.

If you’re looking for a sweet, sexy, quick romance, I recommend Craved by an Alpha. And even though its part of a larger series, you can easily pick it up on its own, since its connections to the previous books are miniscule.

I’m glad you enjoyed Cavanaugh and Eloise’s story, Berls. I liked the fixing a love gone wrong element as well. And you’re right, those characters we’ve been missing wouldn’t have fit into this story. Have you read Bitten by a Hellcat yet? It has a different feel – and a cameo by one of our favs 😉 – but I really liked it! I’m really excited to start Taken by a Dragon soon!

LOL such a great question! I think most of them use stock photos but IDK – I mean how does that end up in stock photos? 😀 Heaton is quite good at PNR – I enjoy her characters and world, I’m just dying to get to the characters she sucked me into the series with. I miss them!

I have several of her “vampire theatre erotic romance” series, I hope they’ll be as good as that one – it will help me discover this author and maybe move on to that series afterward 🙂 Thanks for sharing !

That’s a series I’ve wanted to read – from what I understand there’s some character crossover, though not reading it obviously hasn’t hurt me at all. I hope you enjoy!

It’s a good series, though I’m anxious to get back to the characters we met in the first couple books now. I hope you get to it, those first three books are really really great!
