I can’t believe it’s already time for the 1st quarter update! My goal this year is 75 books, which puts me firmly in the Marathoner (Look Ma no hands) level. I know that little percentage up there looks like I’m really behind. Thing is, it only tracks books I’ve reviewed. And I’m just stopped posting reviews from audiobooks I read in 2014 a couple weeks ago. So it’s not at all accurate. This is a better list:

So I’m actually more on track to read 100 books this year than 75! Woot! I’ve had a good run too, picking a favorite would be impossible. I’m hoping for a similar run next quarter!

If you’re not participating yet but want to try your hand at an audibook challenge, sign up for the challenge HERE. And if you’re participating, be sure to go link up and enter for the 1st quarter giveaway HERE.

Any favorites in my list? New ones you’d like to try?

Great job Berls!!! Another junkie :) I didn’t see your update in the linky, I just caught it from your e-mail updates. Great list! A lot great listens, and The Voyager should be worth 4 books! 😉
I hope you’re having a great time with the challenge, you’re right on track with your goals, well don girl!

Thanks! Yep total junkie! I’ve reached the point where I’m making junkies too 😉 I totally forgot to add my link, just did it! Voyager should totally count as 4, it was like 45 hours!

Voyager was great! I plan to read one Outlander book a quarter – they’re so long I can’t read them back-to-back (I’ll get worn out) but I want to get caught up!

I have The Raven Boys and Burned on my list of Audios I’ve gotten through too.

What did you think of those Elemental Assassin books? I haven’t managed to convince myself to listen beyond the second book — there’s something about them that just bugs me, and I’m not sure if it’s the writing or the reader (I’ve really liked Lauren Fortgang for other books, but she has her moments with me, which is why I’m not sure)

I have to say that I was slow with the 1st two books – I liked them, but didn’t love them. Then 3, 4, and 5 took off. I listened to all 3 since March 16th. 3 was a bit better than 2, and then 4 and 5 were – wow! I finished 5 in about 1 day! So I’d give them another try :)

Oh I totally agree! I can’t imagine not having there stories without Ronconi and Fortgang. I want to squeeze some more White Trash Zombie in soon, I’ve loved what I’ve read so far!

Thanks Julie! I was surprised by how many I’d read when I put the post together. Hopefully it’ll keep up :)

Thanks Jen! Yeah I do read quite a variety :) I have the reviews all written, just not posted… I read too many for my review calendar to stay current LOL. They are harder to write though, for sure!

Thanks Ramona! I’ve been knitting like crazy this weekend – which means audio book time :)

Burned was a disappointing book, though its like 7th in the series and some high standards have been set. The narration was fantastic though!

These were all audiobooks? I’m impressed! I loved the Neil Patrick Harris in book form and I’ve heard the audio is great. Dogwood Hill, the Sarah MacLean and The Raven Boys are all on my TBR. I’ve been thinking about getting The Raven Boys in audio. Did it work well? Great job this quarter!

Thanks Katherine! The Raven Boys audio did take me a little bit of adjustment because while his voices were fine for the boys, I didn’t love them for the girls. I adjust fairly easily, so it worked for me. The story is great, so that helped :)
