Winter 2014-2015 #COYER Update | Last Week :(

February 28, 2015 COYER 7

WinterCoyerUpdate

I can’t believe this is the last week already! COYER has, as usual, gone way too fast. As usual, I wish I’d been able to be more involved at some points but I’m also really happy with the event. And I’ve done a decent job with cleaning out my eReads too :)

Here’s what I’ve read for COYER so far:

Reminders

Read-a-thons

The last Read–a-thon kicked off Thursday – so read those books that are next in some long forgotten series. I picked up two and hopefully will have them both finished by the end of the day today – which is the end of the Read-a-thon. Can’t believe it!

Mini-Challenges

A big thanks to Brandee @ Bookworm Brandee for hosting her Accrositc Accolades Challenge – I wrote one and forgot to turn it in by the deadline :( But it was still fun!

And now we’re on to our final two mini-challenges! Right now, head on over to The Book Monsters Scavenger Hunt hosted by Kristen! This is a super fun challenge that will have you digging through your shelves to take a fun picture – you have until tomorrow March 1st for this one!

And then head over to our final mini-challenge, hosted by Laura @ trips down imagination road! Once Upon a Mini Challenge will be our final event and a fantastic way to bid COYER adieu!

Last Twitter Party!

We have our last twitter party tomorrow at 4pm EST! We’ll have a ton of fun and, as always, a few giveaways! Don’t miss it! You can join us by following #COYER or you can go to Twubs for an easier way to keep up. And If you need help figuring out the time, here’s a handy dandy count down, complete with time conversions:

Some Reviews Posted This Week

Well our review linky is blowing up! Y’all are 530 reviews (as of my writing this). I wonder how many we’ll end with? Definitely in the 600s right? A few reviews total caught my eye this week:

Lillian reviewed Outlander by Diana Gabaldon! Every time someone reviews that book I have to see what they thought, because it blew me away so thoroughly. Check out what this Mom With A Reading Problem thought!

The title on this review from Nikita drew me in – How to Survive Your Sisters by Ellie Campbell. I think anyone with siblings would be drawn to it (and I’m super close to mine!). Check out Nikita’s review and see how to survive them!

And then Stormi reviewed a book I’ve kinda been bugging her to read – because I love the MC. Her review of Carrots by Colleen Helme was spot on IMO. Read her review and see what all the fuss is about!

There’s more where those came from! Be sure to check out all the review links here. There’s bunches of goodies to read!

Be sure to head over to Stormi’s post for an update on what’s going on with the Social Media games! See if you won something and what’s up next :)
I hope everyone is having a great time! Let me know how COYER is going for you in the comments!!

I know how you feel Tanja! It seems I’m always missing something too. Maybe next time? It’ll be the summer :)

I can’t believe we’re coming close to the end of COYER for this time, Berls! I’ve done very well, I had planned on reading 35 books, and so far, I’ve actually read and reviewed 38, so it’s a win. Strangely, there aren’t really fewer books to read on my kindle now than it was when the challenge started 😀
    Have a great weekend!
