Winter 2014-2015 #COYER Update | More than Halfway!

January 31, 2015 COYER 6

I can’t believe we’ve reached the more than halfway point! I don’t feel that I’m keeping up too well, but I’m doing my best! Y’all on the other hand are doing fantastic! I’m racing to read my last #2015HW book today (yes, I’m cutting it close – I like to live dangerously LOL) so this list better have The Death Cure added to it by Sunday!

Here’s what I’ve read for COYER so far:

Read-a-thon & Mini-Challenge Reminder

A big thank you to Kathy @ My Nook, Books, & More for her fun dream cast challenge – from what I saw most of you managed to jump in on this one so yay! Tiffany @ A Tiffy Fit’s Reading Corner kicked off her Tell Tiffy A Tale Challenge this week! Be sure to check it out, it’s super fun and creative! Thanks for hosting Tiffany!

The Scavenger Hunt Read-a-thon also kicked off this past week and we’ll be with it for another week. Barring a little confusion over those combo reads I think everyone is off to a good start from what I’ve seen in the Facebook group. Let us know if you have any other questions :) I’m excited to see what everyone finds! The next read-a-thon will be the Be My Valentine Read-a-thon and you can sign up for it until February 11th.

Some Reviews Posted This Week

There are 318 reviews posted! Y’all are on fire!!! Woot! So proud of everyone clearing off their eReaders! Here’s some reviews that caught my interest:

Laura @ trips down imagination road’s review of The Boleyn King by Laura Anderson. I get sucked in by the word Boleyn because well… I’m a history buff and just love that era. Check out Laura’s great review!

Tressa @ Wishful Endings Review of A Timeless Romance Anthology: All Regency Collection – The regency era is my favorite for historical romances so when I saw Regency flashing at me from the COYER linky I headed right for this review. Tressa did a great job reviewing ALL the short stories and you know I squeed when I saw a great review for a Pride & Prejudice based story! Check out her review!

Lark @ The Bookwyrm’s Hoard’s review of Death and the Redheaded Woman. I’m really into cozies lately (though I haven’t had time to read many yet, I have a mile-long list stacking up) and this cover screamed cozy and I was thrilled to be right when I got to the review. Lark’s review was great and I love the sounds of this grittier, more realistic cozy – PTSD meets your typical cozy humor. Check out her review!

And be sure to check out all the review links here. There’s bunches of goodies to read!

Be sure to head over to Stormi’s post for an update on what’s going on with the Social Media games! See if you won something and what’s up next :)
I hope everyone is having a great time! Let me know how COYER is going for you in the comments!!

I am amazed at how many reviews have been linked up, Berls! We are all rocking COYER this time around! I have not been reading as much as I wanted to this past week, I really hope I’ll be able to get some more done for next week.
Have a great weekend and happy reading :)
