I thought it was a great idea so Pinching Pennies is my version of being trying to be responsible when purchasing books. And a big thanks to Michelle @ Because Reading is better than real life for designing my button!

November 2014’s Goal

So my goal for November 2014 was to not spend on books if it all possible (unless using a gift card) because I have so little left in the budget for the year. Let’s see how I did with that.

Yearly goal = $500
Spent so far this year = $443.80
Remaining (before November 2014) = $56.20

November 2014’s Spending & New Additions

Audible Credits

Credits: 0 credit spent; 2 Credits Remaining
I somehow managed to resist those audible sales! I seem to be holding on to these last two credits for all their worth! LOL! When it’s time to renew (March) I may scale back my membership, seeing as I’m proving to myself I CAN show restraint.

I usually never have a budget, and get what I want..but with the wedding and upgrades to the home..the hubs cut all unnecessary spending till the new year..well let me tell you I have never wanted books more..it is like withdrawal! I still have 2 credits too, I am hoping the Christmas sales are better, none of the BF deals spoke to me.

You did really well in November, Berls! And you were able to add all these books to your COYER winter-challenge now 😉
I hope you’ll enjoy the JA Huss books, they are really good, and I think you’ll fall in love with her stories, but I do feel a tiny bit responsible for your adding them.
The Viscount’s Christmas Temptation is a fun read, and one I think you’ll like.
I’m terrible – no book budget, and I think I’d flip out if I tried to do a total of what I’ve spent on books this year!
    Happy Wednesday 🙂

Wow you did great this month! I still have about 20$ left to spend on books or games this year, but I seem to keep holding onto the money as I love the feel of knowing I can buy something if I want to, lol.

And those reviews books an freebies certainly help you still get some new books even though you’re not spending any money :).

I read Follow a while ago, but it wasn’t for me, I am curious to hear what you think of it!

That’s what I’m thinking Rachael 🙂 I actually thought I’d have no money left by December, so I’m super happy

Thanks! I was so happy! December is already spent I think, thanks to cyber Monday… But that’s ok, as long as I don’t go over, right?

Yay! Good to hear – I’ve been thinking about reading it for a while, but saw so many good reviews lately I couldn’t resist.
