OMG! Can you believe it’s August? I know I can’t! Time just flies by! I can’t tell ya’ll how much I’ve been enjoying COYER this summer. I’m not sure, but I think I’ve read 21 books so far during COYER-SV. Since I’m not adding my links to the linky (since that’s for y’all that are winning prizes), I just now realized it might be a good idea to share my reviews with y’all. I’ll list all the reviews since COYER started in this post, and then I’ll just do the new ones each week from here on out. Two of the books I’ve read so far won’t get reviews up until after COYER, though I did write the reviews already

Facebook & Twitter Games & Giveaway
If you haven’t joined the Facebook group yet, please do! If you have any trouble just shoot me a message with the email you use for FB and I’ll invite you to the group. Anyway one of the games we’re playing over there is Tag! You’re it! Laura of Trips Down Imagination Road kicked things off this week with this get to know you question:
What film/TV adaption from a book have you enjoyed the most (and why)? And which have you hated (and why)?
Discussions of Twilight, Harry Potter, and Hunger Games really dominated this conversation for a bit, but then we drifted to all sorts of adaptations that I haven’t even seen (or heard of). There was even a little battle of True Blood men – Alcide is mine! LOL! Loving these discussions. Anyway, I can’t wait to see what’s up next! The way this works is that out of everyone who replies to the comments we use random.org to select someone who will ask the question next week. So… drum roll….
Tag! Tiffany of A TiffyFit’s Reading Corner! You’re It!
Tiffany, you’ll need to pose a fun/get to know you question for the group tomorrow (Monday) morning and then from there it will go just like last week. Come by the FB group to see what Tiffany asks!
We also had Where Are You Wednesday and Freaky Friday on both twitter and FB. From all three activities we used random.org to pick a winner for this week’s swag pack. Drum roll again please… the winner is…
Kristen of The Book Monsters ! Congratulations!!
I will be contacting you for information to send you your prize, since my awesome co-host Michelle is on vacation this week
The New to Me Read-a-thon wraps up tonight and I plowed through How to Date Dead Guys a new author for me that I’ll definitely be reading again. I’ve also been listening to Scent of White Rose, a new to me narrator and author! I’m hoping to finish reading it tonight
Next weekend we have another read-a-thon – this time it’s Scary Stories by the Campfire! So get those scary books ready for some summer camping fun. Sign up coming tomorrow
Some Reviews Posted This Week
There are over 315 reviews posted! I’m seriously floored! And I can’t keep up with all of them, but I’m trying to catch different people every week. Here’s some highlights I caught this week:
Greg @ Book Haven reviewed The Originals by Cat Patrick. I didn’t know what this book was about, just thought the cover was cool. But after reading Greg’s review, it’s on my dying-to-read list!
Jenna @ Rather Be Reading YA reviewed Panic by Lauren Oliver. This is a book I’ve been really curious about, but on the fence. Jenna’s review helped me make up my mind.
Kyra @ Welcome to My Worlds reviewed Guardian of the Abyss by Shannon Phoenix. Kyra’s review has me thinking this may be a fantasy world I want to explore!
Laura @ Trips Down Imagination Road reviewed Gerard’s Beauty by Marie Hall. I read the first book in this series and though I liked it, I didn’t make it to boo two yet. Laura’s review has me itching to find the time now!
Of course that’s not even close to a sampling of the reviews posted just last week, let alone during COYER-SV, so be sure to check out all the review links here. There’s bunches of goodies to read!
I hope everyone is having a great time! Let me know how COYER is going for you in the comments!!
