It’s time for the fifth COYER Read-a-thon! Now ANYONE can participate! That’s right – if you aren’t doing COYER but want to jump in with this Read-a-thon, you’re 100% welcome! We’re grouping it with COYER to help COYER participants to keep pushing ahead and cleaning out those shelves!
Scary Stories by the Campfire Read-a-thon!
This weekend, Friday August 8th – Sunday August 10th, we’re celebrating the fun of summer camp memories with the Scary Stories by the Campfire Read-a-thon! Here are the rules:
1. Sign up on the linky below. No link required – just give us your name so we know you’re joining in.
2. Sometime between now and the end of the read-a-thon post on your blog, twitter, FB, Google+, Goodreads, Booklikes (you get the idea… somewhere!) that you’re participating. That’s the link you’ll need for the Rafflecopter.
3. Read scary stories – books about ghosts, goblins, and any other horror/thriller that would make for a scary campfire tale. When you finish a book do a general update with a link that you can put on the Rafflecopter. Example – on Goodreads you could write: “Great, cute book! 4 stars! Full review coming soon!” and that would count. (For COYER participants, just do something quick and then update with full review for COYER linky)
4. Have FUN!!!
Grab the button for your posts if you’d like 🙂
Here’s the Rafflecopter for participants! This will open up on Friday and stay open until the 12AM Monday August 11th! Good luck 🙂
What I Plan to Read
Blood Games by Chloe Neill comes out tomorrow and based on my typical listening pace I won’t be finished with it until Sunday – it has vampires and weres, so I’m counting it as one of my Scary Stories. I’m starting it before the read-a-thon begins, but I hope to finish it before it ends too! Other than that all the scary books I wanted to read are too long to manage to finish in a weekend, so I’m doing a short that I need to do for review anyway.
What are you planning to read?
