Write On Review-a-Thon

The Write On review-a-thon is a monthly event created and hosted by Brianna at The Book Vixen. Itโ€™s 2 days dedicated to getting reviews done, whether you have one review to write or 30+. This edition of the review-a-thon takes place all day Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th. Letโ€™s get those reviews done!

Write On July 2014 Goals

I saw Brianna mention the July ReviewAThon at the Bloggiesta chat and thought “hey, I should think about that.” Well I did so well with Bloggiesta that I’m not really behind on reviews for the July ReviewAThon. But I saw that Brianna is also using this weekend to get future reviews formatted and I would really like to get a month out on that. Plus I plan to finish a few books this weekend. So here are my goals – I’ll update this post as I get things accomplished:

Reviews I need to Write

  1. Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi&#x2713
  2. Santa’s Wayward Elf by Paige Tyler&#x2713
  3. Kitty Takes a Holiday by Carrie Vaughn&#x2713
  4. The Assassin and the Healer by Sarah J. Maas&#x2713
  5. I’m Dreaming of an Undead Christmas by Molly Harper &#x2713

Reviews I need to Format

  1. Take me Tomorrow by Shannon A. Thompson&#x2713
  2. Tempted by A Dark Prince by Felicity Heaton&#x2713
  3. The Assassin and the Dessert by Sarah J. Maas&#x2713
  4. Blood Games by Chloe Neill&#x2713
  5. How to Date Dead Guys by Ann M. Noser&#x2713
  6. The Assassin and the Underworld by Sarah J. Maas&#x2713
  7. Scent of a White Rose by Tish Thawer&#x2713
  8. Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi&#x2713
  9. Guild Assassin by Berley Kerr&#x2713

If I get all those formatted I’ll have the next month of reviews setup and ready to put together as soon as I finish reading. Looking forward to a busy, productive weekend!

Thanks Kristen! That’s what I was thinking too – why not get some of that work out of the way, since I’m on track with my reviews? It makes writing the reviews so much faster when you do finish the book, I’m discovering.

Oh, what a great idea! And you’re making great progress — go Berls! I wish I had time to do it. (I shouldn’t even be visiting blogs, but I can only take so much of the current work project without a little break!) I’ve actually been trying to catch up over the last few weeks, though, so I’m not as far behind on reviews as I was, and I’ve got some formatted that I haven’t even read yet.

Isn’t that a great feeling? I’m not behind at all for once and I’m using this to actually get ahead. What a thought LOL! I can certainly understand needing a break from the work project, a person can only take so much. Thanks for using your break to stop by and visit me ๐Ÿ˜‰

It’s my first reviewathon too Joy. I’m coming into this in a much better place than I was in even just a couple weeks ago because I’m current on reviews, except for the books I finished in the last couple days (well, now I’m current on them too, yay!) Good luck getting your reviews written ๐Ÿ™‚
