My goal since March has been $30 or less. And I’ve been doing a really good job with it, on budget every month. Even under budget some months! This month I had the additional goal of not adding books unless I had the intention of reading them very very soon. I can’t say I did perfect with that, but I did pretty good and it definitely reduced my spending 🙂
July’s Spending & New Additions
Here’s what I got:
Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi (1 credit)
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout (library)
Kitty Takes a Holiday (1 credit)
Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi (1 credit)
Amazon/Barnes & Noble/Etc.
I used up my Amazon gift card from last month on a couple of other necessary purchases, plus a portable cd player and bluetooth transmitter to expand my listening options. 🙂 But that meant nothing left for books. Good thing I didn’t spend I spent less than $5! Wow!
Here’s what I got:
7 eBook Freebies
Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi ($3.24, including tax)
Doe Eyes by Staci Heart ($1.07, including tax)
Apart at the Seams by Marie Bostwick (won at Bookclub)
Summer Days by Lisa Jackson (won at bookclub)

So I spent an amazing $4.31 and only 3 Audible Credits!! Yay! I also didn’t add too many books to my shelves – I kept it a reasonable number – just 23 books! I spent $5.00 for a COYER giveaway and bought (at cost) two e-books. That’s it! I’m very proud of myself this month 🙂
