The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Basically it’s a chance to talk about the books you bought, borrowed, blogged about, and read for the week and what’s coming in the week ahead – and then share them with a much wider blogging community. Check out the details here.
Well I apparently forget to hit schedule on this post….ooops! Sorry it’s so late!
In the home world not a lot new is happening. My boyfriend’s job is working out, though he’s working so many hours! He’s had 1 day off since he got the job Wednesday 12th and almost every day he’s worked has been 10 hours or more. But we’re so thankful that he has a job, so we’re doing our best to push through it. I say we, because he’s been a stay at home boyfriend (for the most part) for the past 2 1/2 years while I attended Grad School in St. Louis. We traveled so much between St. Louis and Dallas that holding a steady job was pretty much impossible. And I got spoiled. He was always home to take care of the dog, the cooking, the cleaning, the laundry, and etc. while I was busy running to classes. We were both pulling our weight – me with the income and basic help around the house and he doing the heavy duty home care. But now the roles have reversed a bit and I’m not used to being so domestic. Or being home alone so much. It’s a big adjustment for both of us.
As for the blog – I have two exciting things coming up this week. On Tuesday we’ll have the first Was It Good For You feature – we’ll be talking about Her Mad Hatter by Marie Hall. We had a phone conversation, which we recorded, transcribed and are in the process of editing to make coherent for you to read and decent length (we talked for like 40 minutes or 16 pages!). It’s hilarious to read and I hope we can preserve the natural form of the conversation well enough for the post.
Also, COYER kicks off on Saturday! If you haven’t signed up yet there’s still plenty of time – head over to the sign-up post and let us know you’ll be jumping in so you can get reminder emails and instructions. Michelle and I also posted our COYER reading goals this past week, including a linky where you could link you reading goal posts but so far we’re pretty lonely on that linky. If you’re participating please go link up those goal posts! You’ll be helping us get the word out in this final week and if you do it before March 1st, you’ll get an extra 10 points in the COYER giveaways!
Oh and I’m so far behind on comments *sigh* I know I’m always behind on them, but I do promise to reply to y’all soon. Don’t give up on me yet 🙂

Take Control of Your TBR Goals
I have two great posts to share with you this week from Nose Graze.
In her post “Why You Shouldn’t Use Blockquotes Just To Make Pretty Boxes” she pretty much described everything I’ve been doing and – apparently – I’ve been way wrong. So I’m working to fix how I make my headings. It’s a work in process though, so you will probably see a lot of different looking posts over the next few weeks until I get it the way I want.
She also had a great post for all of you on Blogger who have been contemplating making the switch to WordPress – “A New Server & Book Blogger WordPress Hosting.” Ashley announced that she’ll be putting up her own server & giving away free migrations! So go check it out – I may switch when my current plan is up, because Ashley has such incredible customer service with everything else I have from her.
New Additions to My Shelf
I got the Freebies after I saw the post about them on Lori @ Romancing the Dark Side‘s Blog, so if you’re interested check there for how to get the free download.
Despite all the audio books I’ve been getting lately, I wasn’t in the mood for any of them so I bought two more on credits. I listened to the first one already and I’m listening to the second one now. So they were good uses of my credits 🙂
