Sunday Post | 23rd Edition

December 15, 2013 Sunday Post 9

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Basically it’s a chance to talk about the books you bought, borrowed, blogged about, and read for the week and what’s coming in the week ahead – and then share them with a much wider blogging community. Check out the details here.

Things have continued to be really crazy busy for me, resulting in another slow week on the blog. I’m just now getting caught up on comments from last week’s posts and expect that I’ll stay behind until the end of the year. This week is finals week. My papers are all done and turned in – yay! – but I have two final exams to take, plus two to proctor and grade. And on Friday I move of my apartment in St. Louis and set out for Dallas, Texas. I’m anxious, because the weather for our drive is looking bleak – snow and rain and cold. So fingers crossed that all goes well. We’ll be staying with my brother until the New Year, but we hope to have our own place early in January. I have found some time for writing the last few days and my novel from NaNoWriMo continues to progress – I’m hopeful that I’ll have a finished draft sometime in the next few weeks. Other than that, nothing exciting to report. Hope everyone’s had a wonderful week!

Blogosphere Fun

Carmel @ Rabid Reads had an interesting discussion post this week about Cover Deja Vu – lots of fun thoughts to check out!

Lizzy @ Lizzy’s Dark Fiction weighed what she wanted from Goodreads vs What she got. I enjoyed the Gifs and really agreed with her on pretty much all counts. Check it out!

Why do we love bad boys in our novels, but not in real life? Jessi @ Novel Hearbeat has some interesting perspectives on why bad boys are appealing!

New Additions to My Shelf

No matter how busy I am, I continue to fill my shelves! I did restrain myself a little bit better this week though!

You even find time to get more books in all your crazy busy days.
Soon it will be like a nice weight off your shoulders with all the school being over for now and then you can read even more of the 500million books you have on your kindle LOL
Have a safe trip back to Dallas and keep me posted! Miss chatting with you but I know how busy you have been 🙂

    We will talk soon 🙂

    Happy Reading!
