Sunday Post | 15th Edition

October 20, 2013 Sunday Post 16

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Basically it’s a chance to talk about the books you bought, borrowed, blogged about, and read for the week and what’s coming in the week ahead – and then share them with a much wider blogging community. Check out the details here.

I’m so incredibly far behind with absolutely everything – school, the blog, reading… I think I just haven’t managed to get back into the swing of things since I was sick. I also think I really enjoyed the rest that being sick forced me to have and, as a result, I just feel really really lazy. So I’m kinda pledging to myself that this week I’ll get refocused and caught up. Sorry if I haven’t responded to a comment you left – I promise I will. Today is going to have to be a no blog day for me so that I can get caught up on some school work. But I’ll get back to you tomorrow evening and hopefully stay current throughout the week 🙂

An update on the Clean out your E-reader Challenge – we announced last week that we’d love to add to the fun by having some mini challenges (games/activities with giveaways) running throughout the month. So were looking for challenge hosts – email me if you’re interested.

Also – I’m really really excited about three special posts I have this week. Later today check out the character interview Marie Hall and I wrote  together to play out more like you’d see in an magazine – describing reactions, settings, etc. It’s told from my point of view and it was just so much fun to create, so I really hope everyone will enjoy it. I think it will be a really fun way to get to know Pandora from Crimson Night, one of my favorite books this year (check out my 5 star review)! Then on Thursday Amalie Howard will be stopping by to talk about her newest book, Waterfell. It’s about a mermaid princess!! 🙂 Finally on Friday Andrea Cooper has prepared a treat for you – a profile of Celeste, my favorite character from The Garnet Dagger (check out my  4 star review), and a scene rewritten to give us a glimpse of Celeste’s perspective. There will be giveaways to go with all these posts and they’re all super great, so be sure to stop by 🙂

That’s it – I hope y’all had a great week!

We need to chat about Xmas reads. I need a suggestion or two or three 🙂
Last week was crazy and this week and next is so slow. Just trying to catch up for our challenge!!! So excited. Going to spend tonight putting together the order of books I am going to read. I’m sure by the time the challenge is here it will have changed a dozen times lol

It’s such a delicate balance and as soon as something gets a little bit more attention, everything else falls behind. Good luck catching up 🙂

Thanks Greg! It’s taking a bit of a detour because I’m just so behind from being sick, but hopefully it’ll get back on schedule by the weekend. Have a great week 🙂

Thanks Jenea! I’m finally making a recovery and may just get caught up on comments before I get to bed tonight. Meaning tomorrow I can start fresh and not behind!!! Fingers crossed 🙂 Hope you’re having a good week!

I’ve heard so many great things about Magic Bites for a while now – I just started listening to it and I think I see why 🙂

I’m just now starting to get caught up on comments from this weekend – I’m hoping to be able to start fresh tomorrow and just stay up-to-date the rest of the week!

  2. Vilia

The Heather Horrocks one looks good for the Ho-Ho-Ho Challenge. I need to build up a stack of Christmas themed books stat. Have fun reading all those books 🙂

I’ve been trying to grab books for the Ho-Ho-Ho challenge – it’s right around the corner. I got approved for two xmas netgalleys (even though I wasn’t supposed to allow myself anymore requests:/) so I think my list is full! I’m so excited for it – I love holiday books!

Thanks Chene! I’m bouncing back today and getting caught up on my comments.

I’m really excited about Death is but a Dream – the cover was what hooked me too.

Hope you’re off to a good start to your week 🙂
