Sunday Post | 9th Edition

September 8, 2013 Sunday Post 9

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Basically it’s a chance to talk about the books you bought, borrowed, blogged about, and read for the week and what’s coming in the week ahead – and then share them with a much wider blogging community. Check out the details here.

I’m finally starting to get into my in-school reading and blogging rhythm and overall things went according to schedule last week on the blog. The biggest news for me this week is that myself and Michelle at Because Reading is better than real life launched sign-ups for the Clean out your E-reader Challenge on Thursday. Check out the rules and sign up, it’s going to be a lot of fun!

Have you checked out The Demon Librarian‘s newest discussion feature, For Books Sake, yet? I’m loving it! This week’s topic was: Sex vs Sexual Tension

I’m getting super excited for the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-thon hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Bawdy Book Blog. Go sign up, it’s gonna be so much fun!

Should publishers ask you not to post a negative review? Yummy Men and Kick Ass Chicks weighed in on the question this week!

Contemplating a move to self-hosting at WordPress? NoseGraze provided an excellent step-by-step tutorial this week! And Parajunkee has a list of all the plug-ins you must have whether your making the move or have been on WP for a while.

And don’t forget to stop by the Clean out your E-reader Challenge that I’m hosting with Michelle at Because Reading is better than real life!

New Additions to My Shelf

This week I showed a little restraint, but still picked up some new books from Amazon for free & .99:

I also received from the publisher as part of a blog tour I’ll be participating in:

I’m reading Dance For Me right now and I get frustrated when I’m really enjoying it. So glad you’re joining us on the challenge 🙂

I just started on Dance For Me and so far it’s pretty good. Much more complex than I was expecting. Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a great week!
