Feature and Follow Friday
is a weekly bloghop hosted by Parajunkee
and Alison Can Read
. I participated last week and discovered a lot of great blogs, so I’m really looking forward to doing the same this week!
Parajunkee and Alison Can read each feature a blog- this week check out Thoughts and Pens and No Bent Spines– and pose a question/activity for each blogger that participates to answer/do. Then we all hop around checking out as many participant blogs as we like, finding great new blogs and forming blogger friendships.
This Week’s Question:
Share something you’ve learned about book blogging or just blogging in general in the last month.
What haven’t I learned? See my blog is just over a month old, so everything I know I’ve learned in the past month. But if I’m going to pick one thing it would be the importance of keeping a calendar and having posts written (and scheduled!) ahead of time. Too much happens during the day to try and publish posts as you go or to remember what you had planned for the day.
It’s challenging to get ahead, something I’m still working on, but once I get there I think my blog will be so much easier to manage. I’m trying to get ahead before school starts, because if I don’t, my blog will have to seriously decline and I really don’t want that. This of course also fits in really well with my Type A personality. I’m obsessively scheduled generally speaking, so why wouldn’t I think my blog needs to be?
What have you learned?
I’m really looking forward to reading these posts since I still have so much to learn.
